DIRECTIONS FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS

BrimLock has remarkable properties. Unlike wire, it can be set under heat, and once set, it will retain its shape and style, and return to it, even when bent.

For best results, setting should be done in the final blocking - with the temperature at approximately 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135° C). The hat should be kept at this temperature for 60 seconds.

Millions of men's and women's hats have been made using BrimLock with outstanding results. We do suggest that you conduct your own test on a sample of fabric or straw to determine that the temperature is not harmful to the hat body.
